Another couple of windy weeks in Vassiliki. This season has been awesome for wind. It has been planning conditions everyday over peak season. Spent most of my time on my 4.7. The wind here is generated by a thermal affect so usually in the night and the morning the wind is just an onshore breeze. On rare occasions the wind is natural so stays all night. On a tuesday the sailing company nextdoor has a live music night. The club Vass staff always go along. This week it was windy all night and the moon was up. It was about 12 o'clock and it looked lie 4.2 weather. we all decided to rig up and go windsurfing. The wind was howling and there was just enough moon to see everyone. After about 10 mins in some flashes were coming from the beach as we realised that our friend was taking photos. A car also drove onto the beach and had it headlights pointing at the sea. Felt amazing windsurfing out there. After about an our we all came in to be welcomed by a massive crowd on the beach who had been watching. We then derigged and went out into town for a epic night out. All of us buzzing from the windsurf.
