BKSA Kitesurf Competition in Clacton this weekend, 6th-8th April, featuring kite Freestyle and Race at Clacton Martello Bay, just South of Clacton pier. Well, we've waited long enough, but finally it looks like there is significant
snow forecast for France this Sunday evening with resorts like Les Deux Alpes, Alpe d'Heuz and many
more predicting snowfall of 20-25cm at mid elevations.......

Freestyle goddess Bruna Kajiya is on a roll!! After winning the second stop of the national Brazilian Tour, Bruna went on to win the Single and Double Eliminations to win the PKRA tour event in her home country.

The event was held in the ever windy bay at Barra do Cunhau where all the PKRA riders travelled to fight it out. Bruna won against Joanna Litwin in both rounds.

Congrats Bruna! The next PKRA stop is in New Caledonia before the finals in Australia.

I had a siccccccccccckkkkkkkkkk ride at

I had a siccccccccccckkkkkkkkkk ride at boat nationals and I came 1st I am so stoked with my result ;~).  Nationals were being held at Quayside this year and the weather was really hot so the spectators got to lie in the sun whilst we did all the hard work!  Groms were up last which felt really weird because my category is normally first.  I qualified first in the opening round so I got to go last in the finals.  My run went really well but unfortunately I crashed both of my heelside backrolls, but I’m still pleased I went for them. Luckily I’d already done enough and when the podiums were announced I found out I’d come first and I felt so happy.

My friend Dylan rode with me and he did amazing in his first big competition, he busted out some blind ollie 180s and 180s off the wake, I was cheering him on really loudly.  Dylan got 2nd place and I am really happy for him.  The others in groms drove all the way from Loch Lomond to compete, so glad I didn’t have to sit in a car that long.

All the junior men really impressed me with massive tricks .  Jorge Gill won that group, I’d love to be as good as him one day, which means I’ll have to practice and practice for years.  The other new nationals champions were Tom D’Cruze, Megzy Barker and Laura Christian.

On Saturday was the 3rd stop of the AOD boat tour and I came 1st again. That’s 3 out 3 so far but even better I stuck my heelside backroll which I’d missed landing at nationals. The day was awesome and i was really doing a competition at my home lake.  Edgeriders was sponsoring it too with some prizes and it was really cool to have both my sponsors involved.  Check out the picture though, the rain was ridiculous couldn’t actually see anything!  So pleased with my run though, only one more AOD competition left and the season will be over. Determined to get a few new tricks learnt before it all finishes though
