Scrub Mountain boards was established in 2001, in a sleepy hollow in the south west of England. But this hollow was to sleep no longer… It soon became the test area for the best selling Mountain board company, Scrub. It’s harsh Wiltshire hills and organic woodlands have become a Mecca for downhill testing of landboard and landboard development. And our famous kiteboarding spot Westbury Whitehorse is perfect for the Scrub Landboard team to develop the more kite board specific mountain boards and kiteboards. At 1300 feet (396 metres) above sea level there is always a breeze here as it rolls off the Salisbury Plain army training area. The Scrub Landboard and kiteboard team can often be found on the horse testing and developing new land boards and kiteboards, with a superb view of the famous Scrub HQ, based in a retro Spitfire Hanger in the village below.
